The Act Early Initiative promotes collaboration among early childhood programs in states and territories so children with autism or other developmental disabilities can be identified early and get the services and support they and their families need.

Aim to help improve early childhood systems by sharing and promoting best practices, resources, information and announcements realted to improving early identification of developmental delays and disabilities; and promote the adoption and integration of materials to support developmental monitoring in systems that serve young children and their families.

Act Early Ohio ECHO sessions will cover the four steps to early identification of developmental concerns, including best practices for developing, monitoring, and screening strategies for building resilience in the midst of COVID-19, and cultural considerations when working with families of young children. Anyone who works with children birth to 5 yrs. is welcome to participate. We hope you will join our ECHO community to help families celebrate milestones and act early when there are concerns.
