Why did you join CCHMC/DDBP? I wanted to work at an organization that not only does so much to help others but that also gives me the opportunity to make a positive contribution in this world.
What do you like most about your job? Being able to help others – whether it’s directly assisting someone, preparing materials and planning conferences to provide information or supporting our team members to assist others.
How has your life changed since becoming involved with CCHMC/DDBP? I have become more aware of the world around me and am learning to understand more about disabilities.
What’s your greatest achievement? At my previous job I spearheaded a project that created a scholarship fund. The scholarship is presented to a woman going into the construction industry and is presented at the organization’s Annual Meeting. This year will be the fifth year of the scholarship.
What do you like to do in your spare time? Spending time with my family, bringing joy and happiness to others by bringing to life beloved princesses and other fairytale characters, yoga, enjoying new restaurants, traveling.
