UC UCEDD is working in collaboration with the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County to provide  to information to parents on child development, on early signs of developmental delay and on specific disabilities in print and on the Library’s “Kidspace” website for parents (http://kidspace.cincinnatilibrary.org/adults/onWeb.aspx).

UC UCEDD’s Family Support Coordinator, Amy Clawson, was recently presented the “Special Needs Community Impact Award” during this year’s Cincinnati Reds’ Developmental Disability Awareness Day.  This honor is awarded by the Paragon Financial Group and this year marks its 7^thyear of recognizing individuals in the community who are deeply committed to people with disabilities and their families. On receiving the award, Amy commented, “It is an honor to receive an award to do the job I love doing. Helping families is a passion of mine.”
