Upcoming Changes to Ohio’s Waiver Waiting Lists

Waiting lists for Medicaid waivers in Ohio are changing this year.

With input from people with developmental disabilities, their families, and other stakeholders, the Ohio legislature passed a law earlier this year requiring waiting list changes by every county board of DD in the state. These changes go into effect on Sept. 1, 2018.

Ways to Improve Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Stakeholder Meetings

The Ohio Department of Medicaid will be hosting regional stakeholder meetings to discuss, “ways to improve Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT).”
