Why did you join CCHMC/DDBP? I wanted to join DDBP and the hospital because of their positive impact on the community. I enjoy giving back to others.

What do you like most about your job? My job enriches my life tremendously. I love supporting families who have children with special health care needs or disabilities. Giving families encouragement, resources and strategies to improve their lives has been a true calling.

How has your life changed since becoming involved with CCHMC/DDBP? I have been in various family support and advocacy roles for over 15 years. Through my work, I have found a way to use my skills in a unique and meaningful way for me. It’s just a part of my life.

What’s your greatest achievement? My greatest achievement was in helping to start the CCHMC Family Advisory Council. The excitement, the people, the energy of doing something special that will impact so many patients and families will always be a highlight for me. I learned so much from that experience.

What do you like to do in your spare time? I find solace in walking and playing with my dogs and doing yard work.
