Lisa Hunter, PhD is the Scientific Director for Audiology in the Communication Sciences Research Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and Professor of Otolaryngology and Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Cincinnati. She has served as the audiology faculty in the Cincinnati Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program since 2012. She received her Master’s degree in Audiology and completed clinical fellowship training at the University of Cincinnati and her PhD in Hearing Science from the University of Minnesota. She serves as chair of the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE) and is a member of the Newborn Screening Advisory subcommittee at the Ohio Department of Health.
“What I love most about working with LEND is the blossoming and interaction between the LEND fellows from so many disciplines, and the heart that beats with the passion of those who are living a full life with differing abilities.
In my free time, I love cycling to work and all around Ohio, mountain hiking and creating art (currently abstract landscapes).”
